Actions of SRV OSA are being formulated and implemented step by step. As part of the all-round development of SRV High School, Rotary Club President Radesh Bhat distributed bicycles to five female students of the Higher Secondary School today with the financial participation of Kochi Midtown Rotary Club. OSA President Rtn. B. R. Ajith presided. Life Patron of OSA Dr. A. K. Sabhapati, Rotary Club Secretary Adv. Gopakumar and Kochi Corporation Councilor Padmaja S. Menon spoke. On the occasion, OSA's ex-in-charge K. Ravindran, P. Harigovindan and Suresh were present. SRV OSA Joint Secretary M. T. Joy welcomed the audience. Higher Secondary Principal Biju Sir also expressed vote of thanks.
The SRV school was established in the year 1844 with Mr. Kelly, an Englishman, as the first teacher. In the beginning, the school was called "Cochin Raja's School" by an Order by the then Diwan of Cochin Shri. Shankara Warrier, as it was established by the Maharaja of erstwhile Cochin State.
