Under the auspices of Sri Ramavarma High School Alumni Association, school uniform, school bag and merit award was given to the high school students at SRV High School hall by Mr. Hibi Eden M.P. OSA President Rtn. B. R. Ajith presided. In memory of the late OSA Vice President T. K. Narayana Swamy, OSA's association also presented prizes to the students who achieved high marks in the meeting. Secretary MP Sasidharan, KC Philip, CC Jacob, C Ravindran, P Harigovindan, MT Joy and Suresh Kumar K spoke in the meeting. Higher Secondary Principal AN Biju, High School HM C Radhika and Rani Teacher congratulated.
The SRV school was established in the year 1844 with Mr. Kelly, an Englishman, as the first teacher. In the beginning, the school was called "Cochin Raja's School" by an Order by the then Diwan of Cochin Shri. Shankara Warrier, as it was established by the Maharaja of erstwhile Cochin State.
